From the Harbour to the Hearth

Welcome! I’m Regan Mullis, lead designer at Harbour & Hearth Design Co.

My journey into interior design didn’t start in a traditional studio; it started on the water. I spent years redesigning and rebuilding my own sailboat—a process that taught me everything I know about the sacred balance of form and function.

On a boat, every inch must be intentional, and every material must be steadfast. But more importantly, a vessel is only a home if it feels like a harbour: a place of safety, transition, and peace.

I founded Harbour and Hearth Design Co. to bring that same sense of "soulful structure" to the land. I wanted to marry the technical precision of a well-built ship with the warmth of a hearth—the kind of place that family and friends center, where the music is playing, the wine is poured, and the atmosphere feels like a grandmother’s Sunday dinner. Our aim is to design spaces that navigate our clients’ individual needs, showcase their stories, and are anchored in elegance to weather the test of time.
